Demystifying the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
The best way to fulfill our commitment to improving the environment in which we work is implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS). It gives us a systematic approach to plan, control, and measure, and improves our use of resources. Most importantly, an EMS helps avoid greenwashing, which is often unintentional.
What EMS to use? The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is arguably the best EMS around. It is also the official Canadian and International Standard. It encourages organizations to do their own EMS and self-declare conforming to the Standard.
To learn what the ISO 14001 is, and to get acquainted with new methods of doing it in
a thorough, affordable, fast and fun (yes, fun) way, join us for this presentation. The presenter, Shirley Segev, is an ISO practitioner who helped many organizations create their ISO 14001 EMS, as well as individuals who want to learn about ISO 14001.
